Overview

Sudo Labs is looking for Full Stack Software Engineers to help build the most interesting products on the web. Preferred tech stack is React or similar for the front end, and Ruby on Rails or similar for the backend. Exact language and framework matter less than architecture and engineering approach.

As a Sudo member, you will own and assist the building of technology for Sudo’s partners, which include start-up companies in Silicon Valley and global enterprises. We are not mercenary contractors. Sourcing partnerships and deals through our extensive network, we make equity investments, do joint ventures, and do work for compensation with our partners. We’re not a dev shop or software factory, we are somewhere between a startup studio and a strategic consultancy. We sometimes act as co-founders, sometimes advisors, and always a trusted party to solve hard, interesting problems.

We are currently recruiting for several full stack engineers to work on two specific partners:

• Real estate investing AI platform

  Design, build, scale, and provide ongoing support for a real estate transaction management and brokerage system for one of the fastest growing startups in real estate AI technology. The initial goal is to replace an existing legacy system and to ensure that the new system can be iterated upon faster. This system is the core of the financial deal flow for the company and is an important and strategic product that will need enhancement, support, experimentation, and iteration over the long term. Experience with AWS & Python is a plus.
  Sudo Labs and the real estate technology company have a deep relationship. We are jointly developing the product roadmap as true partners, not as a temporary relationship or as short term hired guns. Beyond this initial product, there will be other products to work on over the years.

• Tech / Health Network

  Join a tech team at an early stage and build a product to help connect health practitioners with patients looking for treatment services. Responsible for architecting and implementing the platform on which this new network is being built. Experience with REST, GraphQL client and server implementations is needed. In addition, experience with software development practices such as TDD, BDD, ATDD is needed. Cloud-oriented, serverless architecture knowledge is a plus.
